Devsister's Cookie Run CRYPTO ~ A Casual Explanation why NFTs are basically a SCAM ~ Handington

So the Devsisters posted that they were thinking about making Cookie Run NFTs, which are basically a type of crypto currency.
They've done some dumb things, but this is probably the dumbest, as investing in those are basically a scam. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they don't intend to do harm, and instead just wanted to get in on a way of making money in a cute way, but it's a rather unethical method whether they were aware of that or not.
So I wanted to give a not very technical, pretty casual explanation on why cryptocurrency and NFTs are basically legal scams, and why you should never invest in them.
I AM NOT AN EXPERT!!! I'm just a guy who just managed to wrap my head around how this works just in time for this to happen. I even mixed up NFC with NFT, where NFC is "near field communication" and is how devices communicate and it's harmless, but NFT stands for "non-fungible token" and is related to blockchain and is the bad one. I may not be the most technical of wizards, but even I know you should stay away from these no matter how enticing they sound!
Also, if someone finds something I said to be incorrect on how it works, please feel free to let me know! I think I finally understood this, but I could totally be wrong on some specific details so I'd rather have those clarified.
