Addressing the All India Rajbhasha conference in Varanasi, Home Minister Amit Shah said that he loves Hindi more than Gujarati and there is a need to strengthen the 'Rajbhasha' (official language) in order to strengthen democracy. He added that Hindi is the friend of all indigenous languages and India’s prosperity lies in the prosperity of its languages.
