1) Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has said the government is committed to shifting public transport and logistics to 100 per cent green and clean sources of energy.

2) Rajasthan High Court Jodhpur has directed the government to take steps for conservation of all lakes in the state including Gadisar Lake of Jaisalmer.

3) Chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday said a state war memorial-cum-museum will be set up in Mumbai, showcasing glorious achievements of the Indian armed forces.

4) Direct-to-consumer meat and seafood brand Licious became India’s first unicorn from the D2C segment after the company raised $52 million led by IIFL AMC’s Late Stage Tech Fund.

5) The Gujarat government plans to upgrade and bring 525 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) under Kaushalya The Skill University, which got approval in the recently concluded state Assembly session.

6) The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) casted the first segment at a casting yard near Navsari in Gujarat, as part of construction activities for the upcoming bullet train corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

7) Thousands of employees of Oravel Stays Pvt. Ltd, the operator of the Oyo hotel aggregator platform, is set to make a windfall as the company proceeds with its planned public listing.

8) In a welcome development for landlocked Meghalaya, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari has announced that several road projects will be taken up in the state worth over Rs 6,000 crore and the construction work for most of those projects will start as early as December this year.
